HealthEast is seeking a Medical Director to join our Walk-in Care clinics located in the growing suburbs of Maplewood and Woodbury, Minnesota. Functioning in an Urgent Care type setting our providers examine, diagnose and treat patients of all ages, for acute injuries, infections, and illnesses. Open to consideration of part time.
Administrative duties (.4 FTE) will include:
Working in dyad partnership with Clinic Manager to support day-to-day operations of the two clinics
Coach and develop providers, conduct annual reviews and communicate with primary care leadership
Co-Leading Staff and Provider meetings and the Lean and Value Based Improvement (VBI) work at sites
Assist with resolution of patient complaints of a medical nature
Recruitment of providers and staff in partnership with Clinic Manager
Clinical Duties (.6 FTE) will include:
Flexible scheduling; however must be available to work at both Maplewood and Woodbury locations.
Maplewood Clinic Hours: 7 am to 7 pm, Monday-Friday
Woodbury Clinic Hours: 12 pm – 8 pm
Weekends, 8am – 4pm
Rotating weekends & Holidays
Patient encounters will vary per shift; average between 15-25 per 8 hour shift
Fully integrated electronic medical record (Epic) is utilized.

BE/BC in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics
2 years practicing, post graduate training
Previous Leadership experience desired
