The Division of Adult Rehabilitation and Health Older People at Middlemore Hospital are seeking qualified applications for a 12 month fixed term Consultant to work across our rehabilitation services.
Our Specialised Rehabilitation Services include general, stroke and spinal rehabilitation services. Our Spinal Rehabilitation service is a regional service for the North Island.
We aim to promote best practice management of clinical, medical, surgical and rehabilitation conditions across the acute and non-acute inpatient, outpatient and community care settings. This role interfaces with the GP’s, community providers, and multiple healthcare disciplines across the DHB and across wider DHBs in the regional and national service areas. This role provides an exciting platform with many learning opportunities!
This role will be a full time, fixed term role for one year based across the Auckland Spinal Rehabilitation Unit and Middlemore Hospital. Salary and conditions of service will be in accordance with the New Zealand ASMS Agreement.
