We have an exciting opportunity for a BC/BE neonatologist to join our team in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The group, consisting of 7 neonatologists and 20 NNPs, provides 24-hour in-house coverage at Erlanger Children's Hospital, a 58-bed Level-III NICU, which serves as a regional perinatal ICU for the State of Tennessee
The hospital has over 7,000 deliveries annually with approximately 1,000 NICU admissions per year
Erlanger is supported by a full complement of sub-specialty services and offers total body cooling and a busy transport service
Neonatal coverage also extends to two Level-II NICUs at nearby hospitals with 24/7 on call coverage
Chattanooga is the fourth largest city in the state of Tennessee and its outstanding quality of life prompted The New York Times to write, “Not too small and not too big, Chattanooga is really the undiscovered gem of Tennessee, where old school Southern manners and grand Victorian mansions meet a thoroughly modern, eco-friendly Tennessee riverfront.” Similarly, RelocateAmerica declared Chattanooga as one of the best places to live, in light of its excellent educational facilities, healthy economy and variety of recreational opportunities. The region's lower cost of living has also been recognized by Forbes magazine which ranked Chattanooga third on its list of ten affordable American cities. There is no state income tax.
